Data controller
Asesoría Inmobiliaria Bakú S.A.S. de C.V. (“Inmuebles Bakú”), located at Joaquín Velázquez de León 87, colonia San Rafael, Cuauhtémoc, 06470, Mexico City, is responsible for processing the personal data you provide, under Mexico’s Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties and other applicable regulations.
Data we collect
Through our contact and owner forms, calls, WhatsApp, email or in person, we may collect:
- Identification and contact data: name, phone number and email.
- Information about the service you are interested in and the related property; if you are an owner, also the property type, the transaction (sale or rent) and its neighborhood and borough or municipality.
- If you hire a service: financial and asset data required for the transaction (for example, property documents, proof of income or mortgage information).
We do not request sensitive personal data through this website. If any sensitive data were essential for a transaction, we would ask for your express written consent.
Data of owners and clients who entrust us with a property
If you entrust us with the sale, rental or transfer of a property, we also process your name, phone number and the property address, as well as the notes needed to follow up and the name of the assigned agent. This data is not published and only authorized staff can access it. Property listings show only the approximate location (neighborhood, borough or municipality, and state).
Purposes
Purposes necessary for the service you request:
- Responding to your requests for information and contacting you.
- Presenting property options, preparing property sheets and emailing them to you when you request them.
- Providing the real estate, legal, financial advisory and representation services you hire.
- Drafting contracts and following up on the transaction.
- Complying with legal and tax obligations and anti-money-laundering requirements.
Additional purpose: sending you information about new properties or services. If you do not wish to receive it, you can tell us at any time through the means described in this notice, without affecting the service you requested.
Property sheets by email
If you request information about a property, we may email you its property sheet, in Spanish or English. We use your email and, if you provide it, your name only for that purpose and to follow up on your request. We keep an internal record of the last 100 sheets sent, with your name, the property reference and your partially hidden email; only authorized staff can access it, and you may request its deletion at any time.
Service in English
If you use the English version of our website, your messages and data are received by the member of our team who serves clients in English. They are handled by the same data controller, for the same purposes and under this same notice.
Website analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see, in aggregate, how many visits our pages and the short links of our printed QR codes receive, without cookies or cross-site tracking.
Transfers and processors
To fulfill the purposes above we may share your data, without your consent where the law allows, with: notaries public, financial or lending institutions of your choice, legal rental insurance providers and the other party to the transaction (buyer, seller, landlord or tenant), as well as with authorities when legally required. We do not sell your personal data.
In addition, technology providers process data on our behalf solely to provide their services: website hosting, email (Titan) and website security and delivery (Cloudflare).
ARCO rights and withdrawal of consent
You have the right to access, rectify, cancel or object to the use of your data (ARCO rights), and to withdraw your consent. To exercise them:
- Send us a request through the contact form, choosing “My personal data (ARCO rights)”, or deliver it in writing at our office.
- Include your name, a way to reply to you, the right you wish to exercise and a clear description of the data, together with a copy of your official ID (or that of your legal representative and the document proving their authority).
We will reply within the time limits set by law. If you believe your request was not addressed, you may contact the competent data protection authority.
Limiting the use of your data
You can ask us to stop sending you additional information through the same means described for ARCO rights. You can also register with the Public Registry to Avoid Advertising (REPEP) of Mexico’s Federal Consumer Protection Agency.
Cookies and similar technologies
This website does not use its own tracking or advertising cookies; only technical security elements, described in our cookie policy, may be used. The map on the contact page, provided by Google, only loads if you click “Show map”; when you do, Google may use cookies under its own policy. See our cookie policy.
Security and retention
We apply administrative, technical and physical measures to protect your data. Form messages are sent encrypted to our email and are not stored on the website server. Internal property and email records are accessible only to authorized staff, with two-step verification.
We keep your data only as long as necessary for the purposes described and to meet our legal obligations; afterwards we delete or anonymize it.
Changes to this notice
We may update this privacy notice. Any change will be published on this page with its update date.
